Ohhh Holliday!
After watching Texas Vs. The Nation I think I have a 49er Draft crush for Kick Off/Punt Returner/Running Back/Wide Receiver Trindon Holliday.
He was the best player on the field for the Texas Vs. The Nation game, and while it was a game without any first round talent most of the best returners were low round draft picks or un-drafted. He was great on Kickoff and Punts having a great burst and being the fastest player to ever play college football every time he touched the ball he was a threat to score... and he did... he scored on a short run and a long pass. Speed Kills and and he is deadly with the ball in his hands. He is a track athlete but unlike most track athletes he is not just a straight ahead runner, his change of direction and balance is outstanding.
He comes from the SEC and Scott McCloughan has drafted many players from the SEC so it seems like a fit for our front office. Plus a player like him would allow us to use the rest of our draft on filling other needs that you do not always find from a late round pick or free agent such as defensive back, pass rusher or offensive/defensive line.
