Chester Pitts To Visit San Francisco
This little bit of information may go under the radar, but Houston Texan OL- Chester Pitts will visit San Francisco next week. As of week 3 of the 2009 season Pitts had started 113 consecutive games for Houston, all at guard, after starting his career at tackle. Pitts also played all but 1 snap in 2008. This could be a real good move for the 49ers.

Honestly
i read more about Pitts here , really didn’t know much about him before, but after reading this write up i found myself interested in the prospect of him joining the 49ers as a short term fix at guard.

Thanks for getting this up. I’m working on a post about it for tomorrow including some scouting report info. I’ll make sure and link to this FanPost as well.
No Problem Fooch
The link is posted on my comment above yours has some pretty good information regarding Pitts, you may want to reference that. A lot of us probably didn’t know much about Pitts, but this could be a real good move.

The Texans fan side of me...
really wants the original Texan to stay a Texan, but I doubt it’ll happen.
If he were to go to any team, I’d love for it to be the 49ers. He’s a good guy and a pretty good guard. Real improvement for our line.
Pitts is being eyed by a bunch of teams
Lions, Seahawks, Eagles, Dolphins, Bengals among others. Hope the FO makes him an offer he can’t refuse.
I was going to do a story on this one tomorrow as well but since Fooch has it covered I’ll elt him do it.

I know is a RT but whats going on with Boone
Has anybody seen Boone practice, is he any good? I live in Ohio I’m a huge Niner and Ohio State fan. So I was happy when we picked him up.
Boone must have done pretty bad to not make the 49er's 53 man roster
Especially after Tony Pashos was sent to the IR. I still firmly believe last year’s undrafted free agent signings were the best part of the offseason.
Terrail Lambert -SHOULD HAVE MADE THE TEAM (Colts)
Kory Sheets-Fair chance at making the team this year (Dolphins)
Brandon Long – fail physical (???)
Alex Boone – Strong Chance of making the team this year with Pashos gone and if Barry Sims signs elsewhere
