Cool Idea for a Post...
As anticipation for the draft builds we continue to see mock drafts on nearly every football website. After checking out our most previous mock draft, (that has us taking Spiller which would rock! BTW :) I had an idea for a post. I'm pretty new to Niners Nation, so please correct me if this has already been done. Going over all these mock drafts I thought to myself, how accurate have these various mock drafts been over the years and is there a specific mock draft that tends to be more accurate that others? Wouldn't it be cool if we took a look at some Niners Nation mock drafts from the past and compared them to the real draft outcomes of that year? Maybe take a look at some other well respected mock drafts and compare those too. Just a thought, since I've always been curious to see how accurate mock drafts could be...Just a thought...
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Niners Nation's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Niners Nation's writers or editors.

It would be interesting
But also a lot of work depending on how many different mock drafts you wanted to include. Maybe a side by side of the 5 or so most popular.
Don't trust this guy. He lies.
Great Idea!
That would actually be pretty cool, I don’t think it would be too much work assuming that you’re only looking at the 1st round…Maybe for like the past 2 or 3 years…I say Get it Done!
If you're willing to do it, go ahead.
I look forward to it.
What we've got here is a failure to communicate.
Actually...
I was hoping one of the senior contributing bloggers on this site would take the idea and run with it, since I wouldn’t even know where to begin…Here’s to hoping!
Be warned
I was an excitable, impulsive, irrational, dummy last year
