Would you guys want T.O. back?
I think he could really benefit the team. Even though he had a bad season last year it was mostly because of the terrible quarterback situation in Buffalo. Owens still managed to keep a good attitude despite his lack of production. I thihnk this is showing hes maturing. He could step in and take Isaac Bruce's spot, being the veteran reciever on the team. I also think Crabtree and Morgan could learn a lot from him if hes willing to work with them. I also think Alex Smith could benefit from having a veteran receiver on the team. So what do you think?

One thing is..
if we got T.O. back and after he played with Alex Smith I’m sure he’d wouldn’t be afraid to give his opinion about Alex.
Singletary would have to put him in check which I think he probably could. Still T.O. is too much drama for my liking.
Yes we should
T.O. could instantly boost our lack-luster offense. To me, he never seemed right without that gold, and red on. Imagine this= Alex Smith with Gore,V.Davis,D.Walker, M.Crabz, T.O., Josh Morgan, J.Hill. Add to that a LT in the first round, along with a LG in the later round or FA. Our defense is already in the top 10. We would prosper. That is what we want correct? Seems like a lot of people just wanna be GMs these days, and nobody want to win..
NO
I think he would be the worst example for Crabtree they could find. Isaac Bruce was a professional and TO is a diva.
thats a good point
crabtree definitely has some premadonna in him already you could see that when he waited half the season to sign.. but maybe T.O. can steer him in the right direction letting him learn from his mistakes.. he really showed a lot of maturity last season. you didn’t hear him complaining about his garbage team, or how he wasn’t getting his touches.
McCloughan said no way, but...
No more McCloughan! So who knows. But I still doubt they sign him
I miss Joe Montana/Steve Young/Jeff Garcia

I'd love to see T.O. come back
but he has already been here and whined his way out. Can’t see it happening but I for one would love to see it
He didn't 2 me act up when he was here 2 me
yea he screamed at the OC in minnesota and that game garcia was horrible and OC was calling some BS by the way were is that OC he got fired in atlanta then got fired in seattle and both of those stops the offense was horrible. Now im not condoning T.O tantrum im just defending him when he was here that team was going down hill fast now he did act up in philly and some in dallas but i think the media blew up what happened in frisco. So give a 1yr contract and bring him home he will have are WO working hard in the off-season .
So, what do you think will happen
when he doesn’t get as many balls thrown his way as he wants? When Crabtree gets more attention than he does? When Crabtree catches more balls than he does? When he doesn’t like the plays that are being called? Do you think he will beome a “new and improved” TO who will keep his mouth shut and just play harder? Or will he revert to his normal selfish, me-first behavior as in the past?
What if the shoe is on the other foot?
If I were GM, Ninersnation would call me the draft hustler.
Step 1 - Offer contract to Bushrod and give up my 49th pick.(RT)
Step 2 - move up to #5 Take Berry for BOTH first rounds and acquire a 2nd and 4th
Step 3 - 2nd round - M gilyard, 3rd - J Jerry, 4th AJ Jefferson, 4th Rafael Priest CB TCU, 5th Deji Karim, 6th - Alex Daniels DE Cincy, 7th Al Woods LSU
Whose foot? Crabtree's?
Then I would hope like heck he doesn’t follow the multple examples of behavior TO has provided. Crabtree already has the potential to be a pain in the rear diva type receiver. (There hasn’t been much proof of it, in fact he seems to have a pretty good attitude from what I have read about him). There is no reason to give him an example to emulate up close and personal.
So we have room 4 pac-man but when it comes 2 T.O its no wow
that doesn’t make any sense at all!!!
I agree

You know that poll
shouldn’t have yea he can help us and yea he should finish his career as a niner so do we add the bottom 2 pole questions together. But 4 me i would’nt mind having him he still can run and he is one of THE best blocking WO in the NFL do yall remember him blocking all the way down the field when he was with dallas i think they were playing against greenbay i may be wrong .
Pats will get him
and he’ll have a great year, it’s amazing how they utilize old talent… and it helps to have Tom Brady..
Joey Galloway was a great success.

He's done
The league will miss you like the nba will miss Shaq. You were really good. Butttt your gonna be remembered for being a huge goof and a show outside the sport.
And
Not winning a SB just like Moss. Long live Rice the greatest.

I'm intrigued about bringing him on
But don’t like how he left. Then again with John York wouldn’t you?
So torn.
Interesting Yes is winning 51%-48% based on all the no responses in the comments
no,nO,NO!
Look, let’s get one thing straight, it’s taken the Niners THIS long to get rid of all the bad seeds we had. PRODUCTIVE seeds to be sure. But, bad seeds none the less. And, for my money, if a player takes this long to become a professional, in looking at the team’s performance as a whole, instead of his own numbers, is that something you really want to bring onto a team that is on the cusp of turning the corner? And I agree….he DID have a low year in Buffalo. AND to his credit, he kept a fairly low profile. But, let us not forget that even when he was doing well in Dallas, it only took 2 bad games for him to go from shedding crocodile tears in protection of his QB. To doing everything to undermine and destroy the same guy because he found a more productive hook up with his TE. Belly aching for the ball even when he was double covered. Not on my Niners, never again.
