Tory Holt was on NFL Total Access last night and did a top 10 mock draft. I think the kindest word for it is interesting. Here are his picks and what he has to say about each of them. I transcribed his comments from the video, so they may be just a bit off.
1. Rams-Gerald McCoy
This guy provides versatility for this front and will give this defensive front good overall team speed.
2. Lions-Ndamukong Suh
Powerful, quick. 32 reps at 225 lbs. This kid can play he's very powerful. Lions gave up 4.4 yards rushing in 2009. I think Suh closes this gap in 2010
3. Bucs-Dan Williams
Disruptive defensive tackle. He's rapidly moving up people's draft charts. Some might think this is high, but this kid can play and eat up some space.
6. Seahawks-Bruce Campbell
Another tackle. Bench presses over 500 lbs. Had a huge combine. Has room for improvement but that's fine. it's hard to find tackles in this league and when you have an opportunity to find one you grab it. With Walter Jones retiring soon this kid can fill that void.
7. Browns-Eric Berry
He can play safety and corner, Had an outstanding post season. Looked really well at the combine. He will bring a presence and some personality to the secondary.
8. Raiders-Trent Williams
Once again, another tackle. This tackle is a little different. This guy can run block. Raiders have some inconsistency in the run game and he will provide good support there.
9. Bills-Bryan Bulaga
Buffalo's already a physical presence on the offensive line. Now you had him at 6'3, 312 lbs he finishes a complete stacked group at physicality and he can move the chains.
10. Jaguars-Rolando McClain
My former team. Physical presence at the middle linebacker position, something that they could use with Darryl Smith and move Justin Durant to the OLB. He has great anticipation on the football field. He starts the youth movement in Jacksonville
