Around SBN: Raiders' GM Begins The Purge

Golden Nuggets: Post-Combine, here we go...

The Combine wrapped up yesterday, so we're starting to get final information from yesterday, and of course the wrap-ups that come along with it.  In fact, our own man Drew K will have his own final report on the Combine looking at who saw their stock rise and who saw their stock fall.

In un-related news, every so often I get emails about sites that have put together rankings on various blogs, be they general rankings or sport/league specific.  Yesterday I got an email about rankings by NFL division.  Apparently this site ranked Niners Nation 4th among NFC West blogs.  You can take that for what it's worth.  However, one interesting thing is that you can check out a whole host of other NFL blogs that might or might not be worth your time.

Looks to me like that guy just went looking for random blogs

and we happened to be the 4th one that he found.

Yes Drew K, Tim Tebow will probably get picked in the first round.

It would take quite a lot to begin ranking that many blogs.

Figuring to get a good idea of a blog you’d need to check in at least three days in a row and absorb the posters and content.

He ranked Dave Krieg’s Strike Beard #3. It’s 2nd entry is a Bosworth jersey w/ a moron quip from February 19th.

Thanks for covering for me, Fooch.

I’m good on them for tomorrow.

I hope it's OK if I link this SI article on DB's at the combine

It talks about Taylor Mays’ dissapointing performance yesterday as well as others. I know Mays is fast, strong, athletic, etc. but I really hope the niners would pick Thomas over Mays. IMO he just seems better at everything.

It's definitely OK.

As long as you’re not blatantly and shamelessly promoting like, a blog that you write for you know, trying to get people to leave this site, I definitely encourage everyone to post any links that I or Fooch miss.

Also, I definitely agree, I’m rather have Thomas a thousand times over Mays, and in some cases, over Berry. In some cases.

Mays may be a freak of nature

But Thomas is more of a freak when it comes to his production on the field. I wouldn’t even be surprised if he’s taken before Berry.
