WR Anquan Boldin traded to Baltimore Ravens; Agrees to contract extension
And so the decimation of the Arizona Cardinals continues. There are probably numerous sources reporting this, but for now Adam Schefter has tweeted that Anquan Boldin was dealt, along with a 2010 5th round pick, to the Baltimore Ravens for their 3rd and 4th round picks in 2010. Apparently Boldin quickly reached a contract extension with the Ravens. It's a three-year, $25 million extension, leaving him with four years and $28 million left.
Before people complain about the 49ers not getting in on this, whether they did or did not inquire, would the Cardinals really want to move Boldin to a divisional opponent? Particularly one that will be one of the co-favorites in 2010?

You could have made that same point in a more respectful manner. Instead you attack him and come across incredibly poorly in most people’s eyes.

Haha come on dude I think you have good points its just annoying to have to read through some of your stuff!

Fooch were you picked on as a kid? I mean c’mon really. Rod went as far to call a guy out with the first comment, he got the response he should have expected. These aren’t 5 year olds you are talking to and you aren’t a pre-school teacher (I don’t think). These are grown men and men talk like this. Fer crying out loud!!!
Yeah in hindsight, dick move by me. Don’t call Fooch out like that, he just is moderating. Sorry jayjonna, I take it back.

Rod definitely shouldn’t have called him out initially. In regards to jayjonna’s comment, we’d prefer intelligent commentary here. I realize he doesn’t use normal sentences and punctuation, but he can still attempt to make an intelligent point in terms of what he says. I’ve given up trying to convince him to type like most people type, but that doesn’t mean he has to attack people. Attacks are lazy.

Awesome!
First the Cards lose Warner, then they lose Boldin…if the division wasn’t ours before it sure is now! GO NINERS!
I don't think I'd go as far as saying it's ours
We still have some issues (see offensive coordinator), but the sure helps.
But between Boldin and Warner, it’s hard to not be optomistic.
Please tell me we have moved past the dark ages of post hoc ergo propter hoc.
Dansby, Rolle and Berry too.
What we've got here is a failure to communicate.

It's getting ugly
losing warner, bolding, most likely dansby and rolle, wow. A long rebuilding process lies ahead. Its looking like Rams and Cards will be battling for worst in the West.
Oh man.
I am definitely drafting Joe Flacco in my fantasy leagues this year.
I don't know about that, to the groin.
lol

All they need is Jermaine Gresham now, and he’ll put up 1,000 yards receiving easily. Flacco will pass for 4,000 yards and 30 touchdowns at least
Fun Fact: Jonathan Sanchez threw his first no-no on my 13th birthday.
Not with Jimmy Raye 2.0 calling plays
Ray Rice is the guy to target from BAL this year.

keep in mind though
the cardinals still have a lot of talent. Breaston, Fritz and Wells is a good 3 players on offense. THe oline is still in tac..it will be interesting but i’m happy about this

Is it just me, or does that seem like a light return for Boldin?
Juan Carlos Perez, please start hitting.
yeah, a 3rd and 4th I believe is really stupid. I could have made a fairer trade in Madden. That’s just how good of a negotiator Ozzie Newsome is, though.
Fun Fact: Jonathan Sanchez threw his first no-no on my 13th birthday.
Cardinals got hussled.

They could have gotten a 1st last year
But they were reportedly demanding a 1st and 3rd (or 2nd)

It was either that
Or lose him at the end of the year. I’d say getting 2 picks, even if they seem a bit low, is better than getting nothing at all. Plus the way it may shape out, they could get pretty high picks next year anyways, or at least we can hope

Trade for Kenny Philips?
I’m interested if they’re willing to shop him, lol
