100 in 100: Taylor Price (89 of 100)
11 DAYS UNTIL THE DRAFT...
If the 49ers drafted Taylor Price, they would have two Taylor Price's working for the organization. There is a Taylor Price that works for the 49ers website as a writer as well.
Taylor Price, the one that played for the Ohio Bobcats, is a very talented wide receiver. He reminds me a lot of a Johnny Knox type of player. A guy who is flying below a bunch of teams radars but has a very high ceiling in talent. When watching Price, it is hard to identify many flaws in his game.
Price had the second fastest 40-time for a wide receiver but I suspect it was faster than what was reported at 4.41. There were many times that could have been potentially flawed at this years combine. Price has very rare speed for a receiver of his size. His hands are exceptional and he doesn't often miss a pass. His cuts are polished and he accelerates quickly out of the breaks.
Price could very well be a player that we see come off the board earlier than expected.
Below, we'll take a look at some of Price's highlights, stats, and I will project where I think he will be selected here in a week in a half.
In this video, you'll see some phenomenal catches by Price. You'll also see how cleanly he gets out of his breaks. There aren't many defensive backs that can keep up.

SUMMARY AND PROJECTION:
The on thing that Price will need to do at the next level is disguise his routes a bit better. He doesn't always sell cutting routes too well. He does make his cuts very well and accelerates out of them extremely fast, but if he wants to be elite at the next level, he'll need to fake out the pro cornerback better than he did in college. He definitely knows how to get yards after the catch on top of all the rest of his tangibles. My final thought is that Price is going to be a significant contributor in the NFL. Price measured at 6'0" and weighed 204 at the combine.
Possibilities -- 3rd Round: Picks 65-98, 4th Round: Picks 99-114.

Hey Drew
Do you think he would be a good #1 #2 or slot. Which would be a best fit?
Love the commentary on the highlight clip
I know I said a couple of months ago that I didn’t think this draft was deep with WRs, I’ve since retracted that. There may not be many go in the first round because of all the defensive talent here, but man there are some great options in the mid rounds. This guy has got great routes (not as clean as Crabtree’s though), and good physicality. Love the way he takes on blocks—reminds me of TO in that respect. Too bad his QB was missing him all day long.

He doesn't have Crabtree's hands either
Crabs would have made alot of those catches.

Well there were some that were just impossible to make
But a few just bounced off the tip of his fingers.
We all know that Alex Smith wasn’t very accurate last year and Crabtree did make some spectacular catches.

Lately I've said that a lot of guys in this draft will be a steal
But if we ended up with Price in the third or fourth round, he could very well become the steal of our draft. His numbers may appear to be low, but it likely has to do with having played with a relatively weak supporting cast. He still managed to account for nearly a third of his teams passing offense with his natural ability. He appears to have a blue collar, no frills work ethic. His best playing days look like they are yet to come. If put into an emerging system in the NFL, he will make the most of it.
Oddly enough a player I like in this draft.
1.Brandon Graham 1.Charles Brown 2. Syd Thompson 3.Torell Troup 4.Robert Johnson 5.Andrew Quarless 6.Mike Kafka 6.Chris Scott 7.Preston Parker
