Golden Nuggets: Wine-ing and Dining Anthony Davis

Ninjames is having some Internet issues so I'm taking care of the links for today. The most interesting one, I think, is the one about Anthony Davis coming to town to meet with the staff. I read one article where he was compared to OT Andre Smith from last year's draft class. Smith had a lot of character flaws and was expected to plummet until the Bengals jumped on him early in the draft. Smith struggled his rookie season with injuries and other issues, so if the 49ers grab Davis, let's not hope for a repeat of that.

Truth on the don't care for either part

On the right side they will be adequate guys but not much more. They are both liabilities against an NFL caliber speed rusher ESPECIALLY Davis and his slow feet but could be strong on the run. If we are drafting a guy at 13 or 17 in the draft he better damn sure be qualified to play LT if Staley goes down. That leaves 3 guys and 1 is a huge ? aside from his workout ability.
