Sup people. I read the posts on here quite often, but haven't posted on Niners Nations before. I'm a die hard bay sports fan...at least the good teams in the bay that is. Niners,Dubs,Giants. I've been a long time member of the GSoM blog since before SB Nation and I really enjoy reading all the post on here.

I just received an interesting text from a friend, in which he describe that Adam Schefter is reporting the Steelers are contacted a few teams regarding the interest for Big Ben. The Niners among them, he said the Rams and Bill have declined. But he asked an interesting question....should he be availalbe for a 2nd Rnd pick, is that something that we pull the trigger on? A 3rd Round pick instead?

Knowing he will be suspended for 6 games, he could be had for a little less than his actual value. There's no doubt the guy can play, but do we bring in a previous media darling, who is now a sideshow type of act? I wanted to gauge your opinions on this one as I'm a bit on the fence about it. I'm leaning towards thinking that it may be worth it in the long run. 

What your guy's take on this? Even if you think we shouldn't bite on Big Ben, what is his worth?
