After much discussion about the subject, the Philadelphia Eagles have reportedly finally traded Donovan McNabb. Adam Schefter is reporting the Eagles dealt McNabb within the division to the Washington Redskins. Compensation for the pick, and any potential contract extension have not been announced.
I have to say, this would seem to speak a lot about either the confidence of the Eagles in Kevin Kolb, their confidence in McNabb being at the end of the line somehow, or their confidence that the Redskins will find a way to screw this up. Take your pick.
Whatever the case may be, this certainly is an intriguing maneuver. I'm very curious to hear what it cost the Redskins.
Update: Apparently the Redskins are giving up their 2010 2nd round pick and a 2011 3rd OR 4th round pick.
