Golden Nuggets: Man that would be a disaster.
Morning folks, Ninjames here. We've got a lot of good posts for you today at Niners Nation so be sure to make the jump and check out what we've got going on and when you should be around. As far as 49ers links go, not a lot has been going on in 49erland but the beat writers have been putting out some pieces on a semi-regular basis so I've got a few for you. Post up anything I miss in the comments. I absolutely love that the Raiders are talking about a possible future Super Bowl being hosted in Oakland. So I've got a bit about that later on today, it's seriously... hilarious to me. Just funny. Very funny. Anyway, I've rambled on about nothing for long enough. Enjoy the links everyone.
Jed York is absolutely certain on Alex Smith. (CSNBayArea.com)

Maiocco: Odds aren't great, but he'll enter 49ers camp with opportunity to prove his worth. RT @ED49ERS any chance Vann is going to keep roster spot? (Not so sure he's going to make it.)

Tre great work love the Ike Brando moniker. Looks like complimenting his blog as well as showing allegiance to the seahawks is the bona fide best way to get your question posted!

Dancing with the Stars
Yeah, I’m with you James, DON’T do it VD, just DON’T! Jerry Rice didn’t make me watch the show, but I have a feeling I’d be following it if VD did. So please Vernon, for sake of my testicles, DO NOT go on dancing with the stars.

Good bye man-card. The day I watch Dancing with the Stars on a regular basis, is the day my man-card gets pulled. It will be hard for me not to watch if VD is participating.

I'm working on a COTD dynasty
When that bloke gets his laptop out of the loo we can argue the toss whether he has been a jammy bugger or it’s back to sweet fanny adams for me.
A bit of other news from the NFL
Crayton is demanding to be released and the Cowboys say they aren’t going to honor that request. Everyone knows teams load up on WR’s and CB’s for camp. They need them for the practice and because of injuries. I wonder, does Crayton have any kind of bonuses or money that goes hard anytime soon? I can’t imagine they’d pay him high dollars to be an insurance policy, especially when they like Austin, Bryant, and Ogletree.
Plus, isn’t the position of “overpaid, overrated wide receiver” already filled in Dallas?

The Ballad of Jed York11:18 am May 28, 2010
NinierJimIn
“Come and listen to my story ‘bout a man named Jed. The fans’ playoff hunger had not been fed. Then one day while mining for some gold, Up on the field came some players like of old. (Patrick Willis, that is, Justin Smith) Jed knew he had some players that cared. The Faithful said "Jed, move away from there!" They said the playoffs is the place you ought’a be, So he hitched up the wagon to Coach Singletary. Mount Pain, that is, Show me, don’t tell me, NFL stars.”

Alex Smith is garbage...

And then God created Saturn.. And he liked it, so he put a ring on it.
Eureka 49ers, my Niners blog.
Jed York was absolutely correct about that
our season ended January 3rd . . . .
Logic merely enables one to be wrong with authority
I liked the projection of confidence
I believe you should always focus on the positive so you can attract success. You have to visualize success before you can in fact become a success. Would it matter if Jed York guarunteed a superbowl. Critics state: He’d be a bafoon! He would be the laughing stock of the sport. … I say “who cares” When we believe that we’re champs is when we actually become champs
