***Updated: SB Nation Bay Area Fan Party (SB Nation is buying the drinks!)

UPDATE: SB Nation has cut a deal with Crown Royal, and Crown Royal will be providing a variety of complimentary well drinks and beer. I don't know the extent of the complimentary drinks, but everyone loves free drinks!

A while back I mentioned that SB Nation was starting to launch some regional sites. 15 of the sites have launched so far, with five more to go, including SB Nation Bay Area. The Bay Area site will be launching on July 1. In conjunction with the launch, we thought it would be fun to have a get together of Bay Area sports fans. Although it's the same day as the launch of the site, it's not a launch party, so much as a chance for fellow sports fans to meet up and socialize outside of our network.

If you're interested in attending, the event will be taking place at Public House over at AT&T Park. It's this coming Thursday July 1 from 6-8pm. There will be some minor food specials, but it's more about getting a chance to hang out with fellow sports fans. The Giants and A's will both be playing (A's starting at 4, Giants starting at 5), so there will be some games to enjoy.
