Last year I hosted a 16-team Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Football League, and I'm opening up the doors for Niners Nation to join up again in 2010. In order to participate you must have a Yahoo! ID and be active all season long. If you're one of those guys that likes the idea of fantasy football, but gets bored of it once you're out of contention take your extra small jock strap elsewhere. Some things you should know about the league before you decide to join:

Starting Roster: 1QB, 2WR, 2RB, 1TE, 1WR/RB/TE, 1D, 1DB (D = Individual Defensive Player, DB = Defensive Back)

Offensive Point System: 25 PassYards/PT, 10 RushReceiveYards/PT, Pass TD/4PTs, Rush/Receive/Return TD/6PTs, INT/FL -2PTs, Bonus 6 Points at 325 Pass Yards, 165 Rush Yards, 150 Receive Yards. 

Defensive Point System: Tackle/PT, Solo Tackle/0.5PT, 1 Sack/5PTs, 1 INT/6PTs, FF/3PTs, FR/4PTs, Defensive TD/10PTs, Safety/6PTs, Pass Defended/0.5 PT,  Block Kick/6PTs.

There are no Kickers in this league, and there never will be (you don't like it, you don't have to play). Defensive scoring is weighted heavily because we are using IDP and rosters only have 2 starting D Players (1 must be a DB). This league also does not feature points-per-reception, but has relatively low bonus markers for yardage. In additon to the starter positions, there are 7 bench slots. The current draft time is schedule for August 15 at 4:15 Pacific Time (7:15 EST). If you can attend the draft, that would be best, but if you must pre-rank your players and autodraft, that is acceptable. There are 16 total teams (2 Divisions) with 10 spots currently available.
