Golden Nuggets: Possibly Going To Break Something If The Offseason Doesn't Hurry Up And End
Morning folks. Props immediately to at least on Patriots fan for getting at me via email and telling me he thought the "At Least We're Not... The New England Patriots!" was hilarious. It's good to see there are people in the sporting world who can take humor what it's for. This is why I think we should all be a little nicer to Jason Cole as well - the only thing his rankings are missing is the disclaimer proclaiming them to be satirical jokes [swish!]. Anyway, apologies for only have two pieces up yesterday. I misread the scheduled time of another post on the back-end as being posted yesterday, when it in fact will be posted today. So in other words, pay attention to the "All times pacific and subject to change" line because more often than not, it changes. As far as 49ers links oh... uhm... yeah. Not a lot going down, if you catch my drift. I'll post what I got. Enjoy.
The only thing 49ers related today is this video from NFLUK.com, which I didn't know exist. It's an interview with Vernon Davis when he went to represent the 49ers in London, which I imagine you have probably already viewed. (NFLUK.com)
Speaking of ratings, Cole has his defensive back ratings. I'm not going to read them. It's worth noting that I'm not automatically assuming they're bad, I'm just not interested in this particular ranking. (Yahoo.com)
Rival Blog Buzz The Rams don't have much leverage when it comes to Sam Bradford's contract, as history will show, as noted by Turf Show Times. They also had their Random Ramsdom. Nothing new from Field Gulls or Revenge Of The Birds.
Yesterday On Niners Nation Kicked off with the Golden Nuggets, and then I had a confidence post on WR Michael Crabtree.
Today On Niners Nation(All times pacific and subject to change)
7:00 AM - Fooch has a 53-man roster projection post here.
9:00 AM - A site update for NN
11:00 AM - Smileyman continues the "by the numbers" posts
2:00 PM - Looks like we got something from Danny here.

Jason Cole didn't make an ass of himself!
He had the Niners DBs ranked 16th overall. I was expecting to see a 32nd (or lower, LOL) ranking from Cole, seeing he doesn’t seem to much thought behind his analysis.
What the hell am I doing up at 5AM?

Madison Bumgarner to Gerald Buster "Jesus" Posey
I don't know.
I just laid down for two hours and couldn’t sleep, so looks like I’m until until tonight.
And then God created Saturn... and he liked it, so he put a ring on it.

I know huh lol..
I don’t like where he ranked our D-line.. 19th..
and his remarks about Justin Smith being overpaid was a little egotistical of him.. not necessary.
Cole sounds like he bases his ranks on stats
but you cannot rank defensive players by stats. He definitely puts too much emphasis on interceptions for DBs and sacks for D-line and LBs.

Is Cole New York based?
He seems to not have a good grasp of NFL west of the Mississippi. Or maybe just an eastern bias.
James - did you ever receive that photo I emailed you?
