Good morning folks. Ninjames here. I have some links for you but I'm not entirely sure what exactly I do have. We had a good number of links yesterday, as well as a full day of front page posting (you're welcome, children) and today I'm hoping to replicate that. I know that there will be more links today than there were yesterday. Training camp is fast approaching and I can't wait. I'm basically salivating. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make camp, like I had initially intended, because I am, how you say, poor. We've got some information about the new stadium and the seats and all of that nonsense. Needless to say, I'm going to enjoy my season tickets while I have them, because there's no way on any plane of existence that I can afford 'em once that new stadium is kickin'. Anyway, here's your links everyone.
Vernon Davis is confident that the team will work out an extension for him. This is good news. Yesterday, Antonio Gates signed an extension with the Chargers, so now there's some precedent to get a deal done. Glad to hear Davis looks like someone who wants to stay for a long time. (CSNBayArea.com)

did you see on nbc bay area
that SF is proceeding with the Hunters Point redevelopment project, including the stadium? Obviously the closer the Santa Clara stadium gets to being a reality they will have to consider changing that part of the development plans…but funny that they are proceeding. I guess there’s a chance the SC stadium falls through, then the 49ers are going to need a stadium and if HP is ready…

was telling me about this……the plans the 9ers wanted years ago the city now wants to make moves! I say whoever comes up with the other half to pay for the stadium first is good with me. As long as there is a new stadium in the bay area

Stadium idea
I suggest they build something akin to this:
…except instead of having it docked, we could raise the anchor on that bad boy and sail it up and down the coast, around the tip of South America, the Baltic Sea, the possibilities are virtually limitless. (Oh and apologies for the large picture.)

Good projections
I pretty much agree with everything. Though I’m rooting for Boone to be able to step up and make a good push to get on the roster. I’d like to see Vann make a good case for himself too. But that would be kinda tough being that he’s a bit on the one-dimensional side. He’s also got two, maybe three guys ahead of him that he will have a difficult time supplanting at PR/KR (Ginn, Williams, Morgan). He will be worth at least keeping on the PS and hope that no one scoops him up in short order. And maybe Briggs and LaBoy might have a good battle for the fourth OLB spot. LaBoy was out for a whole year, but he’d probably still be good as an extra pass rusher. I’d like to see someone from my favorite college team (University of Hawaii) representing!
