This is what I would have expected from Vernon in his first 1-2 years. I thought that he had grown up a little bit and moved his career and lifestyle in a more positive direction. Hopefully last year’s success hasn’t increased his hat size so much that he regresses completely. And he wants to be the highest-paid tight end in the NFL? I don’t think so … not with this kind of behavior.

Some here have mentioned “at least they weren’t hookers”. If he’s single, what he does on his own time is his own business, whether it’s strippers, hookers, or whatever, as long as it is mutually consensual, and doesn’t violate the NFL’s banned substances rule. His only error was allowing pictures to be taken…

Its obvious that a wizard alien has cast his mighty spell on Vernon. I mean what other explanation is there for the idea that a rich celebrity would try to use his fame and money to have sex with lots of beautiful women.

After all, Shawne Merriman had Tila Tequila get mad at him when he asked her if she wanted to join the threesome he already had going on. Which, really, is pretty impressive.

Just to review a couple solid points previously made:

1) VD should definitely try to avoid VD…having sex with strippers, while lots of fun, may not be the best long-term activity health wise…

2) What IS Aaron Maybin doing there?

3) Of the things players can get in trouble for off the field, I don’t even think this rates. It’s consenting adults, it’s a private home, and it’s his call. I mean, it’s not like he’s dropping his pants in the locker room while giving a speech to motivate his team :)
