Risers/Fallers
The risers and fallers after Saturday night's 28-24 win over the Raiders.
RISERS:
Phillip Adams -- Adams played good on defense, and also played very good on punt returns. i think we found our replacement while Williams is out.
Barry Sims -- When Joe Staley got hurt, Sims was the one to fill in for him, and did a good job.
Travis LaBoy -- He didn't get a sack against 3rd-stringers, it was against starting tackle Mario Henderson.
Dominique Zeigler -- Had a team high 5 catches. Looks as if he guaranteed himself a spot last night.
FALLERS:
Brit Miller -- He didn't see any time at fullback. But he did record two special teams tackles. But at this point, I'd be surprised if he even makes the practice squad.
Jason Hill -- Didn't have a pass thrown his way the whole game.
Brandon Long, Bakari Grant, and Patrick Stoudemire -- They all couldn't have fallen any more as they have been released.

Alex Boone
played well yesterday and held his own. curtis taylor failed to get on the defensive side of the ball though. diyral, khalif, and demetric all had quiet games
no big deal for the cuts
seattle will pick them up before they know it. must be nice to have that sort of job insurance
You mean the Niner's North club?

In my opinion
cutting Miller is as likely to happen as Boone winning the backup job over Sims
Logic merely enables one to be wrong with authority
yeah, i'm slowly starting to accept
that Barry Sims will probably make the team this year. in my last projection, i had to cut Tony Wragge and give Sims a spot.

you dont think brit miller will even make the practice squad?
he is a member of the first team return coverage unit. thats a great way for a backup to make the roster.

Until I see him playing fullback.
Does anyone know the number of offensive snaps he’s gotten the last 2 weeks?
i dont know how many snaps he's been getting at fullback,
but i’m not sure it matters. we know he wouldn’t make the roster purely as a fullback. that’s not really up for debate. i just think his importance to the return coverage unit will be enough to earn him a roster spot.
