hopefully they can get over this fast.
if we are in luck it was a bout something normal, like who had the biggest rims. sing says they were both wrong, so maybe they both have 28’s
The things
That car tires go on. Some of them are known colloquially as “spinners”, though those have gone out of style lately.

No idea ...
… what you guys are talking about. I thought the things car tyres/tires went on, were called cars.
LondonNiner - member of the legendary David Carr thread, 6 March 2010.
haha
The shiny, round chrome things that the actual rubber tires envelop.

Hub caps!
Do you mean hub caps?!
LondonNiner - member of the legendary David Carr thread, 6 March 2010.
No
Hub caps are the cheap plastic things that cap the hub. Rims are better.

when you guys get mexicans and black people over there let me know.
rims are so normal here everyone has them.
and by you guys i mean YOU london haha

We don't use hub caps
Those are so 70’s.
What we've got here is a failure to communicate.

like mine
Alex Boone WON'T survive on the PS...in fact, he wont even clear waivers.
Let's talk on Twitter
According to Maiocco ...
… Sing says they were “both wrong”. How badly must he have bawled them out when he dragged them both into the locker room?!

ROFL - Man can't wait for the season to start

Singletary says VDavis-Crabtree misunderstanding not about football
The San Fransisco 49ers, where we got Dix, VD and Crabs!

RT @MaioccoCSN: Singletary says of Davis-Crabtree: They were both wrong>> I’m guessing 85 said Detroit is capital of Mich, 15 insisted Flint

This is getting weirder and weirder ...
Barrows just quoted Sing as saying “the elephant in the room has been exposed” vis a vis V Davis and Crabtree … what the heck does that mean?!
Maiocco says it’s a memorable Sing press conference – still going on. Cannot wait to hear full details. Guesses on what that elephant could be?!
LondonNiner - member of the legendary David Carr thread, 6 March 2010.
Barrows now quoting Sing as saying ...
… that VD did the right thing. But in the wrong way.
LondonNiner - member of the legendary David Carr thread, 6 March 2010.
Confusing since we can't get the whole picture, all we got are these damn tweets
mattbarrows
Singletary said the root of the issue wasn’t football-related. He said Davis “did the right thing but did it the wrong way.”
MBachCSN
Singletary called the dust up a “good thing”. Got issue out, addressed it & it’s over
bydavidwhite
Singletary closes by saying they’re better as a team now that there’s no “elephant in the room.”

VD partying with strippers and not inviting Crabtree?

Or that Crabtree smells
Coach Boone: And who's team is this, Gary? Is this your team? Or is this your daddy's team?
Bertier: Yours.
Coach Boone: Now get on the bus. Put on your jacket first and then get on the bus.
yes
This isn’t the first time words have been exchanged in a football training camp.

Yeah
buy Crabtree’s a diva. He might cry at a press conference.
by mr. instigator on Sep 1, 2010 1:08 PM PDT up reply actions
At least he'd turn up ...
… unlike his back-up quarterback.
LondonNiner - member of the legendary David Carr thread, 6 March 2010.
Vernon isn't exactly the most level-headed dude
Anyone who picks a fight with Larry Allen might have a tendency to blow their top a bit.
Coach Boone: And who's team is this, Gary? Is this your team? Or is this your daddy's team?
Bertier: Yours.
Coach Boone: Now get on the bus. Put on your jacket first and then get on the bus.
Will be worth ...
… keeping an eye on VD’s Twitter (http://twitter.com/VernonDavis85) later. Don’t think Crabs is on Twitter.
LondonNiner - member of the legendary David Carr thread, 6 March 2010.
I doubt he mentions anything.

Not about the argument but
Mindi Bach
Alex Smith, Vernon Davis & Frank Gore will not play against San Diego. Crabtree may play Singletary said
Vernon ...
… understand to be missing the game with two swollen eyes, a bust jaw, and swelling of the fists.
LondonNiner - member of the legendary David Carr thread, 6 March 2010.
He’s also lost the advantage of being able to yank VD’s dreads now they have been shorn.
LondonNiner - member of the legendary David Carr thread, 6 March 2010.
so you are saying VD has been prepping for this for the last 8 months?
cant fault the guy for being prepared haha
The beat writers ...
… have gone very quiet on Twitter. I’m guessing they are all now filing their blogs and there will be a longer take on this very soon. That said, if Coach Sing didn’t tell them what the argument was about, they won’t know, and it will likely take a while before it comes out, if at all.

Matt Barrows
Singletary on V. Davis: “I appreciate Vernon speaking from his heart. But he was just wrong. But he indeed is every bit …”
the reason why I made him captain. He’s not going to sugar-coat things. He doesn’t know how to sugar-coat things. I wish he did sometimes."
Intriguing
Singletary initially said they were both wrong. Now, having had time to consider it, and having spoken to them both in the locker room, he clearly believes Vernon to be in the right, albeit that he wishes he hadn’t blown up publicly and in that fashion. That’s my reading anyway – and if so, this means Crabtree said something completely out-of-line to VD. Which had nothing to do with football. So clearly something in one of their personal lives, or a personal issue they share. Who knows?
LondonNiner - member of the legendary David Carr thread, 6 March 2010.
heres the link
but its nothing.
except sing says it’s handled
This line ...
… caught my eye.
After 10 minutes, Davis reappeared and received fist-bumps from several of his teammates. Crabtree and Singletary returned to the practice field nine minutes later.
Yet more evidence that Davis was considered to be in the right, by his team-mates and the coach.
LondonNiner - member of the legendary David Carr thread, 6 March 2010.
So Crabtree did something
VD got pissed but handled it the wrong way
