The game isn't even over and yet it is. It is 12:49 pacific as I type and the game is decidedly in favor of the Chiefs. We've been dominated in every phase of the game and the score reflects that.
Alex Smith has had NOWHERE to throw the ball with decent pass protection. I know he's been sacked four times (so far, oops he just got sacked and fumbled as I type) but when he has had time to throw nobody is getting open. The defense has given up yards in huge chunks both passing and rushing which surprises me. The rush D is supposed to be our strength and Charles has a ridiculous rush avg so far. With Atlanta and Philadelphia looming up ahead in the next few weeks we could be looking at 0-5.
So, is it time to panic? I saw hell mutha .......... yes. So much for making the playoffs. And don't anyone say it is too early to decide the season because it is week 3, we are 0-3, and the shedule is not any easier than what we've had with Seattle and Kansas City for 2 of our first 3 games.
Anyone see any glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel? Or is the season pretty much over and time to start looking forward to the 2011 draft?
