Just a thought for the beginning part of Sunday's game

Yes, we have a new OC in Mike Johnson, yes Alex smith may not be all that good, BUT we cannot go down by a touchdown or more to begin the games. 2 out of the 3, KC and NO, we were down by 7 or more points in the beginning(we all know the beginning to the seattle game). By beginning i mean 1st quarter, why should we always be coming back from some kind of deficit? I say we ATTACK early and often, go deep to anyone, play actions, trick plays, and getting big holes from gore and letting him do the work, and keep the Falcons defense honest, because they will not be expecting that. If the niners can jump out to a early 7-0, or 10-3, something like that, kind of lead by the end of the 1st quarter, and then the Falcons will have the pressure on, and we can execute blitz packages, and really get the crowd out of it. We have to start fast, being down 10-0 or 14-3 anything like that will most likely result in a loss. Let's take a look at some of the games we won last year(and 1 we lost, but close) where we jumped out to an early lead. 

@ home vs the Seahawks, 2 big runs from Gore win us the game behind SOLID defense

@ Indianapolis- yes we did not win this game, but getting a big run from Gore early on almost lead us to a win, almost is not good enough, but it may be vs the Falcons.

@ home vs the Cardinals- early lead again, 10-0 at halftime, we're built on sustaining leads, and we're pretty good at it. 

Now I realize 2 out of those 3 teams are not as good as Atlanta, but we can certainly dictate the flow of the game if we attack first and score. If we do get the ball first sunday, pull out all the stops from the beginning, and let Vernon, Gore, Morgan, Crabtree, and if Ginn's there, throw it to him deep. If the 49ers are smart, attack quickly. Doesn't mean do not run the ball, but maybe 1st play, play action and go deep, even if doesn't work, the Falcons will not be expecting it. 

P.S.: anyone know the status on Ted Ginn?
