good day to all my 49er die hards out there. I'm jersey9er from new jersey aka home of the jets and giants so you know i've been taking it from their fans for sometime know. Can't wait for the season to start i know baring major injury we will do well and maybe return to the promised land. I know allot of people don't think we can win a superbowl with alex but smoke this over, when the ravens won the big dance it wasn't because of the offense( i think our offense right now is better than there's was) it was because ray Lewis lead them there and the team followed. There's only one ray Lewis but we do have the best defensive player on the planet (revis is good but i'd take nhamdi over him) patrick whatcha talkin bout willis and if pat leads and the team follows i think we can get that 6th trophy. that's it time to go jump on the jets fans about there over rated team. P.S. the saints where 8-8 the year before last just saying!!!!!!!!

Like the optimism
and honestly, once the niners get into the playoffs, they can be a very dangerous team with a strong D and a solid running game. Barring injury of course, I have high expectations from them. Go Niners!

i wasn’t refering to any stats except that the saints were 8-8 in 2008. but thanks for the info, brees threw for 5,000 yards and they only won 8 games. call me crazy but if alex smith throws for 5,000 yards………. say it with me super bowl win number 6

i don’t see how that scenario is worth considering. he has never even thrown for 3,000 yards in a season.

2008 Saints >>>>>> 2009 49ers
I still think the 49ers are two or so years away from a superbowl victory.
They could get lucky, though.
