Vic Fangio is expected to be named the 49ers Defensive Coordinator this week. "Fangio has talked to other NFL teams about their openings, but he is very close with Harbaugh, and 49ers sources believe the job is essentially his. Also Jim Harbaugh is expected to be the de-facto Offensive Coordinator for the 49ers. He will hire a running game coordinator and a passing game coordinator.
