Golden Nuggets: Who To Root For?

Stay connected for news and updates

Good morning folks. Apologies for the Nuggets being a little ... incomplete for the past couple days. I had that trip to the emergency room, and at that point I spent a lot of time resting and things of that nature. I know Fooch is probably angry with me at the moment, so he should be happy to see a complete Nuggets and a nice Mike Singletary post on SB Nation Bay Area in the morning. I'm facing a dilemma at the moment - the Jets and Steelers are both in the AFC Championship game. I don't want the Steelers to win because they don't need to increase their Lombardi lead by another - and I don't want the Jets to win because Rex Ryan is an enormous tool. I don't want the Packers to win because there's nothing more annoying than Packers fans holding onto titles that don't really count - except for maybe Packers fans holding onto titles that do count. I guess it's time to root for the Bears. Oh yeah, I think there might be a couple 49ers links for you. Not sure yet. Enjoy, though.

Mike Singletary is likely going to be brought into Minnesota as the linebackers coach. That's a good fit for him, he knows what he's doing with linebackers. (NFL.com)

It's time to be looking ahead to the draft. The 49ers have some good picking positions and should be adding a starter early on and some depth later on. The first three rounds could conceivably bring starters in some problem areas. (CSNBayArea.com)

If you missed it yesterday, George Seifert is a fan of the hiring of Jim Harbaugh, and Harbaugh's hiring of Greg Roman. (PressDemocrat.com)
