Golden Nuggets: Spikes For Man Of The Year

So ... how was the Shrine Game? I have no idea myself, because I had a splitting migraine and passed out. Then I woke up and watched tennis all night ... my guy lost. I'm emotionally unstable and there are tears on my keyboard as I type this. Not really, but ya know ... Honestly, I didn't even read up on the Shrine Game or even who was in it and things of that nature. "Whoops." Anyway ... I don't think anything went down in 49erland yesterday.  There's not many links today, but I'll post what I think is pertinent for the last couple days. Today, we've got the championship games and I'm rooting hard for the Chicago Bears. I've given my reasoning as to why the other teams suck and the Bears basically need to win. That would be special. Moving on to your links, though ... In a little bit of a hurry.

Here's another piece on Takeo Spikes, who was nominated for the NFL Man of the Year award.(

If you missed it, Jim Tomsula, Tom Rathman, Ray Brown and Mike Solari are staying on the staff. (

Well, to start: I don't think Dockett deserves to go to the Pro Bowl, not this season. He was pushed around all year and really, I just don't see him worthy this season.  Nothing of significance going on with the Rams, and Field Gulls took a day off.
