Golden Nuggets: Solid Hire, But Not Jumping For Joy

Good morning everyone, hope all is well for everyone ... I'm starting a bit late for one reason or another so I kind of need to speed through things to get this up on time. I'm watching more of the wonderful Australian Open, the Women's Singles final, though it's not the reason for me getting to the Nuggets late, for once. We do have a few pertinent links for you today, so go ahead and check 'em out, though since I'm in a hurry I'd like to note once again that you can always post any pertinent links that you find and think other people will want to see if I've missed it. Don't be stingy now, go ahead and post 'em. Note that the Nuggets are a kind of general link dump for anything sports-related and really, anything at all. It's your on-and-off-topic thread for the day, so if you feel the need to, tell LondonNiner what you're having for lunch today. If you're American, tell him you're having twelve hamburgers, he's nuts for that kind of thing.

The 49ers hired Bobby Engram as an offensive assistant. He wanted to break into coaching and I don't see anything bad about the move - just forgive me if I'm not jumping for joy. (PressDemocrat.com)

I don't have time to read the article, but I agree with the title of this one at the very least, in that the 49ers need to have multiple plans at quarterback. They need a free agent and a rookie as well. (CSNBayArea.com)

How about a guide to the Senior Bowl from Barrows? (SacBee.com)

Here's a good, general post from Branch of the PD. I'm liking him more and more these days, as he deals with some looks at the mock draft and has a killer line about the Seahawks near the end. (PressDemocrat.com)

Sam Lam put together a list of people associated with the 49ers that you should be following on Twitter. (Examiner.com)

Did you know that Von Miller is good? Yeah, well, he's really good. Like, super good. You know ... just good. (PressDemocrat.com)
