Love hearing stuff like that
Even if Dilfer wasnt the best QB to play he does know his football. And its exciting to think that this team is really set up for the future as well as it is. Just got to get that long term QB.
Wow, that's some high praise for Baalke.
One of the best football minds he’s ever been around? Dilfer’s been around a lot of really talented people over the course of his career.
Come on, Alex, please be good this year..

I thought Baalke sucked?

When Jim Harbaugh says "more is more" I think he is trying to say Moore is more.
I don't know that anyone hated Baalke, he had been half in charge of 1 draft/off-season
but plenty of us wanted the 49ers franchise to move as far away from the old regime as possible in order to avoid the effects of a short leash on the fan base and players.
Thankfully for everyone Ginn helped them escape week 1, they eeked out an ugly victory vs the Bengals, and then the Eagles [site decorum] the bed. Gave the 49ers all the slack they could have ever asked for. The 2011 draft is looking like a massive success, the 2011 limited free agency is looking like a pretty decent success ( only pretty decent because they’re 1 year deals ).
Everyone has mostly forgotten the old regime, even with the limited carry over.

of course there are
the question is whether you can enjoy ugly things, which, we all can to some degree. Less so over the long run.

As much as people don't like Dilfer and say he was a poor NFL Qb , he did play for many years in the ( NFL ) and what of the smartest anaylist out there ...!!
I'm your " Huckelberry "...it's just my game ...Jimmy Raye your no daisy ...!!
How sweet would it be if what he says about the Niners long term
Comparing it to the Patriots WOW!
It’ll be like the 80’s and 90’s all over again with yearly appearances in the playoffs, and making runs at Super Bowls!
"I hate it! It looks like a stickup at 7-Eleven. Five guys standing there with their hands in the air."
Norm Sloan
"We have a great bunch of outside shooters. Unfortunately, all our games are played indoors."
Weldon Drew
until they get a pro bowl level QB, it's hard for me to believe that

We don't have that QB yet
But I wouldn’t completely disregard Kaepernick. He might turn out to be a bust. He might become a great QB. Who knows? The best possible thing is for Alex Smith to continue being serviceable for 2-3 years, allowing CK to fully learn the playbook and translate his raw abilities to a pro-style offense. He ran a bizzare formation at Nevada, so I couldn’t be happier that he’s not being thrown to the wolves immediately. Allow him to develop for a couple of years, and then give him a chance. Like I said, he might be a total bust. Or he might be great. We don’t know yet, and I’m fine with that.
I really like Kaepernick, I hope he pans out
But until he does…
