So sick of Tim Tebow but you post a Fan Post about Tim Tebow. Irony at its best.

He did the Dolphins a favor
Kept them in the Luck sweepstakes.
This has got to be killing Elway in Denver.
It is a mess for Denver imo.
I can't...
I just can’t…..

Joe Montana really likes Tim Tebow's game...
I think he could be really good. Couldn’t care less about his purported virginity or religeon or his crazy Mom (etc) but…
I saw him play all 3 games at the tail end of last season. Guy just has an “IT” factor like no one I"ve seen in a long, long time. Made a believer out of me… Didn’t follow him at all in college… Was really surprised by how unfair all the criticism of his potential was after finally watching him play.
—He’s the TOUGHEST guy I’ve ever seen play QB.
—He’s a LEADER and seems to be a man of GREAT CHARACTER on and off the field.
—He’s FAST and has a STRONG ARM and QUICK FEET (mechanics can improve).
—Teammates respond to him; has that proverbial “IT” factor.
—He WINS and COMES BACK TO WIN time and time again.
—His slow release is overrated in terms of how it affects his ability to play QB. Sure, it doesn’t help, but Joe Montana didn’t exactly have a quick release himself…
—Word is he WORKS HARDER THAN EVERYONE ELSE on every team he’s ever played on.
I have no idea how good he can become, but the criticism to this point has been COMPLETELY BIASED. I think his “goody two-shoes” image and all the religeous crap has rubbed certain people the wrong way (myself included while he was in College) and he’s paid the price by having people judge everything about him accept for the most important aspect of QBing… WINNING.
Lot of things to LIKE about Tim Tebow as a QB… I suspect he will continue proving many of the “experts” wrong over the course of the next 15 years.

Nice , the Famous ( It ) factor ...!!
I'm your " Huckelberry "...it's just my game ...Jimmy Raye your no daisy ...!!
this thread is hilarious.
I guess maybe your right about his toughness and strength, which may be beyond Favre??
But he cannot throw the ball very well. That is important, right? Not just slow release, off the charts lack of accuracy.
Feh
Being able to throw the ball so that it is within 10 yards of the intended receiver is overrated anyways

Don't hate a guy doing his best
Hate ESPN for shoving him down your throat. Thats like hating the wooden spoon, not Grandma for hitting you with it
I do hate wooden spoons
We have evolved to more durable materials.
He didn't even lead the comeback against the Phins
Stephen Ross came down in the 4th quarter and reminded his team that he wanted them to Suck for Luck, because if he couldn’t have Harbaugh, he at least wants Luck
the dolphins pulled that out of the fire in the last 3 minutes
That was a miraculous save.
Indy is not pleased!)
I think the more important question is
whether or not the Dolphins and Colts play each other

Tebow
I made the post because I wanted to illustrate how ESPN and other major sports networks pick certain teams players or topics and do non stop coverage of these players or teams. Say what you want about it, I picked Tebow because he is the hot topic right now I could of easily made the same point about Favre last yr or teams like the Steelers Eagles Cowboys, and Patriots every yr. I posted it on NN because I think it affects us negatively because it takes away from Niners coverage. I just think it’s stupid that instead of hearing about a team that hasn’t allowed a 100 yd rusher in 29 games, leads the league in defense, and is 6-1 (second best record in the league) instead we get to hear about the qb of a 2-5 Broncos team. The Eagles and Cowboys both have losing records and it’s discussed far more than our Niners. Tebow was used to try and make that point I can’t help it if some people only read fan posts to grade papers or criticize the people who write them instead of trying to remark on content or give their own opinion.
What are everyone's latest thoughts on Tebow?
This is the strangest QB-story I’ve ever watched in over 30-odd years of following the NFL.
Would love to say “I called this”, but……I didn’t. I had no idea Denver would actually committ to the Read Option like they have.
I’m actually LESS optomistic that this works out for Tebow now. I think the league catches up to what Denver’s doing, and he’s taking a beating in the process.
Love watching them use him as a RUNNER, think they’re blowing any chance of him finding long-term success by turning him into a Running Back.
But the guy IS a winner. And he’s also showing how overrated the traditional statistical analysis of QB-play can be at times…
I have many leather-bound books.

I think if you have a gold star kid like that
He’s going to show up an hour early and stay an hour late every day and do everything you ask him to do and work on everything you want him to work on.
I think if you had 3 years to break him down to the raw athlete, I mean really destroy the way he plays the QB position and build it back up the right way — you could have something special in this guy.
I think the Broncos did wrong by him. First Josh McDaniels trades up into the first round to get him, which means he’s never going to get the time he needs to develop before having to play. Then during the regime change there wasn’t a clear development plan for the kid.
Elway didn’t want him, didn’t draft him, and is now hanging him out to dry and hoping for the worst so he can draft his franchise QB in 2012.
They should have cut the kid in the off-season and let him go somewhere he could develop.
