Watching the game in London

I am in London for work. I was wondering if any of the fans here that live in London know of a place to go and watch the game? I'm in the Moorgate area so I'd like to stay close, but I wouldn't mind traveling a bit. Any help would be appreciated. And worse comes to worse, I'll just get ripped off and buy the weekly NFL Game Pass for $25. But I'd rather save that money for beer.

It’s my understanding that there is a sports bar that only shows American sports. I was in London for the 49ers-Broncos game and there was a bar that was showing all the World Series games. I thought it was near Piccadilly Circus, but can’t quite recall.

I know Sports Cafe is near Piccadilly

Unfortunately it’s only playing 1 early game and 1 late game, just what’s available on the sports channels here. Thanks though.

Yep ...

… most bars in London will show whatever is on Sky Sports but you’ll only ever get what’s on Sky Sports and nothing more. Sky has a 6pm game and a 9pm game. The 49ers are not on Sky tonight – they may get on Sky if they keep winning! Keep an eye on NFLUK.com which has all the Sky games listed, and @NFLUK on Twitter tweets the game choices from Sky too.

But you’ll only ever get in bars what’s on Sky – if the Niners are not a Sky game, you gotta watch them at home online.

Hope that helps dude. If we get to the Superbowl, the London fans will all have a big party somewhere in town maybe?!
