Golden Nuggets: 49ers Done Studying, Giants Need To Hit The Books

Well - how about them Niners, yeah? I was thinking about something during this game ... even before the 49ers took their lead and looked like they were going to win. People continue to say that the 49ers are going to face a tough test this week ... they have a test they need to pass ... the Detroit Lions will challenge them ... the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will challenge them. Well you know what?

The New York Giants faced a test on Sunday - not the 49ers. This was the Giants coming to Candlestick Park to see where THEY stand, and they didn't pass the test. I've been so hesitant to fully buy in to this and express so much confidence publicly, but you can't argue with seven straight wins, can you? Let's get to the linkage. Awesome people first, just so you're aware.

First, there's the gamestream from SB Nation Bay Area - where I had a play-by-play of sorts during the game and will have two posts in the morning recapping it from different angles. (SB Nation Bay Area)
