49ers Vs. Ravens Injury Report, Wednesday: Bruce Miller DNP, Ray Lewis Limited
The San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens released an injury report yesterday afternoon as practices began for their Thanksgiving contest. The 49ers practice was a basic walkthrough as opposed to a normal practice, so their participation report is a projection had they actually conducted a normal practice. I do not know if it is the same thing for the Ravens, although it wouldn't surprise me if it too was a walkthrough.
As expected, Bruce Miller was listed as a DNP as he continues his recovery from a concussion. I'd be pretty surprised if he suited up on Thursday. Concussions are always tough, but add in a short week and the safe bet is just to sit him. Justin Peelle got work at fullback this past Sunday and likely would get some more on Thursday, but Moran Norris would likely also be active for the Ravens game.
Anthony Davis was listed as limited, which makes sense coming off an ankle sprain. Today is the first day of actual practice so that could give us a better idea of what to expect for Thursday. I think Davis will still be limited, but I am not as concerned with his status as with Miller's status.
For the Ravens, Ray Lewis remains limited due to a toe injury (although the Ravens list it as a "foot" injury). Apparently John Harbaugh told Peter King that there is a realistic chance Ray Lewis plays on Sunday Thursday, but it's less than 50-50. We'll see how that pans out this week.

Here is to hoping that Miller stays out a week
I have been loving having a receiving threat in our fullback and I really don’t want to see him get injured again or reagrivate anything, especially head related.
you passed!!!
Congrats, your degree will be mailed to you lol

Matt Maicco
stated that he along with Braylon are listed as “limited” because the 9ers are not healthy at WR, so they are taking a smart approach in preserving their health for the season. The past two weeks, Justin Smith did not practice at all, but was not injured. The coaching staff is very smart and knows that they can’t afford another WR out.
He's been listed limited all year.
So your comment doesn’t make any sense.

Miller
It goes without saying that they need to do what’s best for his health, but I really wish he was playing in this game. He’s become a threat no matter where he lines up and we are going to miss that in this game, especially since we are playing one of the best run defenses in the league. Watching Norris is going to be like pulling teeth after watching Miller for so long.
I agree with alot that you say but..
As the teams mantra, “Next Man Up” I shall go by. Also feel that Justin Peelle, not Morran Norris will get the nod to start. He was good at Atlanta behind Tony G. If you think about it having 3 TE’s on any given play has endless possiblities. So advantage Harbaugh & G-Ro in scheming up a game plan that uses TE’s which we know they have a propensity of doing.

Justin Peele
Giving him the start at fullback would actually open up some of our offensive threats. It’s a small trade off as I would say Miller is without a doubt a better run blocker but Peele give’s us a better option as a pass threat.

Not sure where he’s going to be playing this Sunday…

Which is why I didn't
like the 45 minutes of offense on Sunday. Rested the D but wore out the O line and Mr. Gore with his 24 carries. Get too tired & you get injuries, that variable that none of us wants to talk about.
