49ers vs. Ravens Inactives: Bruce Miller, Ray Lewis Inactive, Moran Norris Starting At FB

The 49ers and Ravens released their inactive lists for tonight's Thanksgiving battle on NFL Network. The 49ers most prominent inactive is fullback Bruce Miller. It is not a surprise that Miller won't be playing due to his concussion, but this officially confirms what we suspected. Moran Norris will get the start in his place with Justin Peelle likely operating as a backup at both fullback and tight end.

Cornerback Shawntae Spencer is a healthy scratch this week and Tramaine Brock will operate as the fourth cornerback. Chris Culliver has been dealing with a shoulder issue this week, but he is probable and will fill his normal third cornerback role.

The big news for the Ravens is that linebacker Ray Lewis is inactive and Brendon Ayanbadejo will make the start inside next to Jameel McClain. This makes things a bit more interesting on the Ravens defensive interior. Add in Lewis' athleticism in getting to runners on the corner and this is a pretty significant loss.

So long as there's no/minimal injuries...

And we play these guys to full potential tonight, I will be satisfied. That alone should ensure a victory, but there’s much to learn from this barfight soon to ensue – particularly if we have to meet them again.

This is going to be a diiiiiiiiiiiiirty, ugly game. I wouldn’t worry about full potential.

Injuries, on the other hand. Everyone involved is going to be hurtin for a few days. Refs, cameramen, fans in the first and seconds rows aren’t off the hook either.

My hopes for the day: a cameraman or cheerleader gets carted off with a concussion, a “givin him the business” type call or two, a helmet cracker hit, and at least 3 players walking off the sideline with bloody noses/ears/mouths/gums/eyeballs.

…!50 yds rushing , 250yd passing , tons of ( First Down ) , atleast 50% 3rd conversion’s , clock and ball control , no turnover’s , same Defense and Special Teams as past weeks or in other words … Harbaugh Football …!!
