PrintWelcome to our nineteenth installment of the Ninersnation Community Thread. Here we can go into off-topics such as why get trampled on Black Friday? Who has snow? What is basketball? So now our front page football topics will be about football (strange concept, I know). First rule is, ignore speling errers! Second rule is that site decorum is still on. No talk into religion, politics, or dirty dirty. No personal attacks, racism, or sexist remarks. Images are allowed, just be tasteful and pretend Chilo Rachal is sitting next to you. This is going to be like the draft threads so we can come back to a discussion so that means REC THIS! That is a good rule of thumb in any situation. So lets have some fun here. The new topic of conversation: How was everyone's Thanksgiving? Any good stories like Uncle Frank got wasted and urinated in the coat closet or Cousin Billy breaking Grandma's femur in a friendly game of tag football? Or did you have a boring one with good food and good cheer and everything was perfect until T-Sizzle showed up?

Funny thing happened on Thursday night
A 49ers fan, Dolphins fan, and Lions fan walked into a bar. End of joke. We formed the Thanksgiving losers club that night.

The Lion fan stomped on the Dolphin fan at the last second and the 49er fan just stood there and was unable to stop anything.

Thursday: I went to work. That was about it really. This is mostly to do with me not being American. Which is a pity really, but there you have it.
You should start celebrating Thanksgiving, just for the hell of it.
It’s the best holiday, based entirely around good food and football. If course, this years Thanksgiving was ruined due to the 49ers loss and a lack of Lasagna. Though the Lasagna put in an appearance two days later for my brothers birthday, so it wasn’t a completely worthless week.

It is for me.
Though now that you mention it, Lasagna was sadly and noticeably absent from our family meals until I begin making it a few years back. Not always Lasagna, sometimes Manicotti, Stuffed Shells, or just elbow macaroni with tomato sauce. It’s always a good idea to have a pasta dish, particularly for such family events as Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Punters is a very generic term used for anyone who buys anything. Any customer of anything is a punter.
It has never, ever occured to me before that punter means different things in the UK and the US. When I talk about one of our customers in my business, they’re a punter, and when I talk here on NN about Andy Lee, he’s a punter, but until now, I never connected the word.

The problem is that I don't do confrontation.
So I want to kick their face in, but I never will, because it would be really awkward, and I am incredibly lazy.
Even now, at nearly two in the morning, my jackass roommate is sitting at his computer, basically shouting into the speaker on his headset, because being so stupid and insecure forces him to spend every waking hour on the internet, talking to his “friends”. One of the worst things ever is having to spend hours every day listening to an absurdly trivial and repetitive one-sided conversation, while being painfully aware that murder is illegal, even if the guy is a total jerk.
