2012 49ers Draft Wishlist Poll [As of Week 12]

Stay connected for news and updates

Good evening to all you out in Niners Nation-ville. I'm Chris, and I've recently been curious as to how fellow members of this 49ers community think the team might be able to grow next year. As you all know, the season has turned out much better than anyone could have predicted before week 1. As well as the team is playing, there is always room for improvement, and it is never more evident that the team still has some pieces missing than when the game is on, and comments are pouring forth about how [This guy] is awful, or [That guy] needs to get fired.

Although the draft is nearly a half year away, what better time than now (after a good old fashioned whoopin') than to get a general consensus brewing - not only for some good conversation & debate, but for some NCAA scouting tips for the less knowledgeable members of the site (myself, mostly).

Certainly, problems have been seen all over the team. The line hasn't been consistently spectacular, the secondary has been a concern, the WR corps has been underwhelming and inconsistent, and one of our best defensive linemen, while a world-beater in his own right, has been on the wrong side of 30 for some time now.

So the question I pose to you - if you were the little angel/devil guy standing on the shoulders of the Harbaalke come day one of the draft, what advice would you whisper into their ears regarding the first two choices?

And for the love of all that is holy, please include names of draft prospects & reasoning should you choose to comment!
