Hello San Fran Fans. My name is Will, and I'm the unofficial representative of BBV and Giant fans of the interwebz. Any questions, please feel free to ask them so me and other dudes from BBV can try and answer them.
Just like everyone thought in August, right?
Sunday will feature a continuation of the old rivalry of the 80s between the two illustrious teams. It will feature the original Captain Comeback (Harbaugh) vs the Eli Manning, trying to take that title with 5 game winning drives in the last 6 weeks, the third player in NFL history to do so.
Below are some stats that will have absolutely no meaning for the game on Sunday:
The Giants are 14-13 vs the 49ers in the regular season, while the 49ers are 4-3 in the playoffs, making the overall record between the two teams a an even 17-17.
The scoring is just about equal too, with the 49ers having scored 5 more points all time in all 34 matches between the team.
The Giants won 9 of the first 11 games between the two teams, and have won the last three games, while the 49ers won the 6 games prior.
On the west coast vs the 49ers, the Giants are 7-10 all time.
Tom Coughlin is 4-0 vs the 49ers as a Head Coach (1-0 as HC of the Jaguars, 3-0 with the Giants)
This will be Jim Harbaugh's first game vs the Giants as a coach, and went 1-2 as a player.
Eli Manning is 3-0 vs the 49ers.
Alex Smith has played 5 games vs the Eagles but somehow never vs the Giants.
Once again, any questions you have, please ask! Sunday is just too far away
