In a good bit of news for season ticket holders and prospective season ticket holders, 49ers President and CEO Jed York tweeted out last night that prices for the 2012 season will not increase from their current prices. I don't know the current prices on season tickets, but you should be able to get details on that by calling 415-GO-49ers or emailing go49ers@niners.nfl.com.

If you have been thinking about getting season tickets, it is worth noting that if you put down a deposit on 2012 season tickets (available through the above phone number), it appears as though you get priority to purchase playoff tickets for this year. So, if you're pondering season tickets, there would appear to be some incentive to get on board sooner rather than later. I'd imagine 49ers playoff tickets will go fast and furious if they can clinch the division soon. 49ers.com has more info on season tickets.

On a side note, I'm still awaiting confirmation as to whether individual game ticket prices will increase.
