Golden Nuggets: Drama Or Random Non-Story?
Good morning everybody. Thanks to the Monday Night Week 16 contest and the Saturday Christmas Eve game, this week will hopefully go by a lot quicker before game time. When we have to wait an extra day for a game it seems to last forever. When you remove a couple days, well it is all the quicker.
One upside to the shorter week is less time for drama to unfold. There seems to be a bit of drama surrounding Braylon Edwards and his playing time. Vernon Davis sent out some tweets about teammates sticking together and then said he was thankful to have Braylon on the team. Then Vernon Davis was talking to the media and he wasn't sure if Braylon was still rehabbing or what was going on. I don't know if there is nothing to this or if something else is going on. It could be nothing, it could be everything, but it is worth at least keeping some kind of eye out for more details

On nights like these when I get bad bouts of insomnia
I’m especially grateful to have the Nuggets to read through. Especially these nuggets, wow, that’s a good long list of articles!
Oh, I hope this thing with Braylon is not drama. I sounds like it could be something weird going on, but of course the media feeds off of any little bit of news that could be controversial and then turns it into something worse than it was before. I just don’t like drama when it comes to the Niners, when it has a negative light. Gets me worried. Also because I guess I do like Braylon, especially after reading about his generosity with those kids back in Cleveland, so I’m hoping the controversy will get shaken off.
Maybe Vernon’s got a better handle on Braylon’s frame of mind than most, since they are roommates this season I think? It’s good to see how supportive the Niners are to each other, though I think Vernon’s tweet just adds fuel to fire. I hope the mystery gets cleared up this Saturday (hopefully by seeing Braylon having a good game).
Win or lose, at the end of the day I'm just happy to see the Niners play well... Okay, winning is good. I prefer winning.
"Yeah, I do get emotional. It fires me up. It fires me up a lot. I'm not going to apologize for that. If that offends you or anybody else, then so be it." ~ Jim Harbaugh
Re: Edwards
I could care less if it’s drama. The offense is less productive when Edwards is on the field and Williams is not. Hell, Swain caught the first pass that came his way and got some positive yardage after the catch. Realistically, I would be fine with just shutting Edwards down for the rest of the season and moving on. Absolute most expendable player on this team next to Norris and Rachal.
Wow.. thats alot of links.. Good job..
As far as Edwards, I have wondered if his lack of performance has been due to his inability to hit any of the clauses in his contract for his bonuses..
But he needs to do something before the seasons end, otherwise he isnt getting any money offered next year.. It probably is too late for that to change aswell..
