There is something entertainingly awkward whenever Alex Smith makes an appearance on The Joe Show.

Right
Would have been funny if he’s said: “Of course, thanks to you Joe, it’s sometimes Alex the red-nosed quarterback.”
Alex Smith is so painfully awkward, it's hilarious!
And Joe should look into stand-up whenever his NFL career is over. Funny guy!
It was too short, though.
Alex Smith could potentially challenge Patrick Marleau for most awkward athlete in the Bay Area.

Ha!
They make a pretty good funny man/straight man comedy duo.
Hahaha
Alex Smith sang Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer.
I can see it now…. 1:37 seconds on the clock… 4th quarter…
49ers are down by 6… 21 – 27
Alex Smith has to drive the team 80 yards for the win…
As soon as Alex walks in to the huddle, he tells Joe Staley…. “Look, it’s Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer” and points down the field in to the stands only to see dorky fans with neon green painted on their faces all with red noses from the chill of the weather.
Staley bobs his neck back and forth squiting and frowning to try and locate the mythical and legendary reindeer as if he were trying to locate Waldo.

What a weird version of the song, hah.
Shoulda had Vernon back on with his belting rendition of “Ring Christmas Bells”.
Win or lose, at the end of the day I'm just happy to see the Niners play well... Okay, winning is good. I prefer winning.
