Alex just won a game by repeatedly throwing deep passes.

It wasn't looking promising at the half, but we saw Alex miss deep on guys that were open (including a 100% drop by Davis). Apparently Alex only needed to dial it in, finishing with TD passes of 50+ yards, thanks in part to Kyle Williams's YAC, and a passer rating of 142.3. Who needs the red zone, anyway?

I'd still like to see fewer sacks taken, but the routes today seemed Martzian in their high-risk/high-reward nature. The defense was giving the offense the luxury of taking deep risks, and it's nice to see it pay off.
