Hey guys, almost time for our teams to meet up again, and I have a feeling this one will be different. No, I'm not saying that the Cards will win, but I think this time the game will be a lot closer, something like 17-13.
We already learned plenty about each others teams last time we did this, but nothing wrong with a good chat between our fanbases. Both of our teams are playing well lately with you guys securing a playoff berth and the Cardinals winning four of their last five (hope you enjoyed what happened to the Cowboys last night). Seahawks are looking good now too, maybe the NFC West will be pretty good next year?
And now for some basic stuff.Kolb struggled in the first half on his first game back from the injury, but he was great in the second half. He was 9 of 14 for 203 yards and the TD in the second half and OT, and his pocket presence looked much better than it did earlier in the season.
Our O-Line still sucks, Dallas' defense wasn't doing anything special and they were still abusing our line. Doesn't help when you false start on fourth and goal at the one yard line.....
One of the bad things about Arizona is that it is a transplant state where tons of people move in from somewhere else and bring their sports loyalties from their hometown with them. Tons of Cowboys fans at the game yesterday, but it also made it so much sweeter to send them home unhappy.
I said when we talked last time that I love what the Defense is doing lately. Over the last five games they are giving up 17 points a game (counting a punt return, two safeties, and a pick six), and over the first seven they gave up 26 a game. I honestly believe that this D will be one of the better ones in the NFL next season.
So, lets get this chat going as we wait for what will hopefully be a good game on Sunday.
