Kaepernick Scores a 37 on wonderlic
Sounds was verified as a smart young man with a 37, the 3rd best score behind Greg McElroy's 43 and Missouri's Blaine Gabbert's 42
Is it a bad thing that he didn't score as high as Alex Smith who had a 40?

It means something... Just not sure what it means in relation to football
I like to look at it as good the guy is smart but if Vince Young scored a 6 and Alex Smith scored a 40 it tells you being smart is not everything. Vince Young actually has had more success then Alex Smith but both or rumored to be out of their original job next year.

maybe. didnt mean to sound smug.
Im just tired of hearing about the wonderlic as if it has any indication how a quarterback will turn out. If someone has more information on how it correlates to football that would be great information.

This was discussed about three weeks ago
The study concluded that general mental ability (GMA) was unrelated to future NFL performance, the draft selection process or the number of games started in the NFL.
This article presents empirical evidence that within the modern draft era, there exists no statistically significant relationship between intelligence and quarterback performance at either the collegiate or professional level.

I wrote a story about the Wonderlic test in 2005 in which I interviewed company president Charlie Wonderlic. He said a score of 10 or below is an indication of literacy problems.
“You can still be a great football player, but it means you can’t be trained through reading,” Wonderlic said. “What that’s really telling you is just how much of a challenge it’s going to be to teach this person.”

Honestly I don’t understand the hype around Kaepernick. I’ve seen enough of him play (I’m from Reno) to have a pretty strong idea that he’s never going to be even an adequate NFL QB. He’s a great athlete, scrambler, and “winner” but he makes some of the easiest passes look so difficult and with too much regularity. I’ve seen him throw more than a few passes that looked like they were tipped at the LOS but weren’t touched.
And he's also a guy that's never had even adequate coaching
Harbaugh can turn water into wine… He can turn Kaepernick from carbon into diamond.

You want to talk about inadequate coaching
Look at Locker he didn’t have a QB coach until last year.
Kellen Moore is awesome
Katie Mcgrath is our savior
my dog <3
Exactly
Another reason he and Kaep are high on my list. Raw guys going under Harbaughs tutelage. Like sponges.
