Isnt if funny how things change....

After browsing throughout many of the mock drafts/projections/inclinations/certainties/ whatever you want to call them, i stumbled upon a sportingnews article from, well judging by their predictions, must have been at least 5 years ago.  Theres names we know, names we dont, and names we wish we didnt.  My question is, how much really changes from the moment this article was printed, to draft day, if for some reason the draft was held 5 months earlier, and this was the consensus big board, is there going to be a bigger bust rate than what we have now?  Is Prince, who preseason, as far as i remember, was the second coming of jesus, now all of a suddenly is a reach at #7, and marvin austin now wont be touched with a 10 foot pole.  Im curious if there has ever been any articles comparing a consenses big board say 3 months prior to the end of the college football season with the general consensus big board come draft day, and single out the players who have either risen or fallen during those three months and what their bang or bust rate was. The link to the article is http://aol.sportingnews.com/nfl/feed/2010-09/draft-dish/story/stanfords-andrew-luck-moves-to-top-of-mock-draft
