Official NFL Draft Discussion and Mock Draft Thread (4/26/11)

We're coming down the final stretch before the 2011 NFL Draft, with it now only two days away. Our last draft thread was getting pretty full, so we're back with one last thread before Thursday.

As the site prepares for its draft coverage, I thought I'd use this to get your thoughts and requests for what you'd like to see over the course of the draft (in terms of coverage, but obviously picks as well!). We'll have open threads and analysis on the players after the picks, but what else would folks like that we may not have offered in the past. You can check out our past coverage through the NN Story Archive.

In the meantime, if folks are looking for a discussion topic, how about ranking first round scenarios? It seems like drafting Patrick Peterson would be the ideal scenario for most of us. Beyond that, it gets a little hazy. I like Prince Amukamara and he certainly has the confidence to be a number one cornerback, but it remains to be seen if he could hit. Personally, I'd love to get a defensive end like Cameron Jordan or J.J. Watt if Peterson isn't there at seven. It would probably be considered a reach at seven for either of them, so my second "favorite" scenario would be trading with the Redskins so they could grab Gabbert at seven and the 49ers then grab Watt or Jordan at the ten spot while picking up an extra pick or two.
