I was recently watching the nfl's top 100 players of 2011 and pondering the idea of Justin Smith for the list. Ok now I will state my case.
Stats2010- 57 tackles #1 among all DE , 8.5 sacks top among all DE.
2009- 41 tackles, 6 sacks
2008- 50 tackles, 7 sacks
2010 and 2009 NFC Pro Bowl
Started 155 of 159 games including all 48 with the 49ers
65 career sacks and 465 career tackles
