Aubrayo Franklin
Hey guys,
Eagles fan here. I'm doing this NFL Players draft on Bleeding Green Nation and I need your help about available defensive tackles. How'd Aubrayo Franklin do this year? Was he dominate? Where would you rank him against other 3-4 NT in the league? Strengths and Weaknesses? Your help is much appreciated. Also, who'd you suggest would be a good 3-4 nose tackle that is underrated? Most studs and big name players are gone.
Thanks,
Number5

Franklin had a substantial drop-off in production
this past year. He played well near the end but wasn’t the same as the last year (2009.) If many of the big names are gone, try a Marcell Dareus or Casey Hampton of the Steelers.

Great Player
If O-Lines were sandwiches then Franklin is Jamarcus Russell. If O-Lines were feet then Franklin is Rex Ryan.
He had a little drop off at the beginning of last season because he didn’t attend training camp but I would put him in the top 3 of available NTs.

Well , if you don't like Santa Clause , Franklin's not your man ...!!
I'm your " Huckelberry "...it's just my game ...Jimmy Raye your no daisy ...!!
Franklin was the best NT(top three at least, the best stat-wise) in the league in 2009, but in 2010 he neglected to go through the teams workout program and he was sluggish for the first half of the season, but caught on near the end. Franklin would be a smart signing by most any team, so long as the whole “long term contract” thing doesn’t allow him to slack off.
And then God created Saturn ... and he liked it, so he put a ring on it. ... Always a ninja

49ers had an excellent run defense the last 2 seasons
and Aubrayo’s definitely a big reason for that. Patrick Willis can’t do what he does without Aubrayo taking on double teams.
Best Way to Describe it
In 2009 he was amazing. He had great stats and I started to notice him, which doesn’t always happen with NT. I think he would be a great pickup for anybody as long as he stays in shape, goes to training camp, etc…
Does the niner nation even allow eagele fans?

lol
QUESTION: When is our QB going to answer questions like "You only threw 4 TD's today. What's wrong with the offense?"
ANSWER: When Andrew Luck ditches the draft and we sign him as an undrafted free agent!!!
He's horrible
You don’t want him.

Can you justify that?
He seemed to do fairly okay later in the season (I’m guessing holding out of camp with the Franchise Tag hurt his conditioning)
I believe that was some reverse psychology
to keep other teams from pursuing him and driving up the price.
He's peaked but still has a few good years if you can motivate him.
Understands the NT position and has a good size for it. FA going to the highest bidder.
