Conference Call: "To Update Players On CBA Deal"
While, I don't think this is front page material yet. I do think that it is worth posting on Niners Nation. According to sources "The plaintiffs in the Tom Brady vs. NFL case will participate in a conference call Thursday night, the latest step toward completing a labor deal between the NFL and its locked-out players in the near future". "The purpose of the conference call is to update the individual plaintiffs on the status of the labor negotiations, particularly the framework for a new collective bargaining agreement, a league source told ESPN's Sal Paolantonio." While there probably won't be a deal signed by end of business Friday, there seems to be a strong possibility of a framework for a deal being completed by then.
