Vote P Willis for 100 Hit Power today!
Fooch's Note: Click on the link at the bottom and then click on hit power to vote for Patrick Willis today.
His competition is:
2) Ray Lewis
4) Ray Maualuga
In my opinion people are gonna vote alot for James Harrison because he gets fined like every week for illegal hits. Ray Lewis is past his prime but can still lay the lumber. Clay Matthews has alot of endorsements after the Packer's Superbowl victory, so he is obviously in the limelight right now. Ray Maualuga isn't in a big enough market to get recognition for this competition.
Then you have Bamm Bamm who started an earthquake yesterday! He should be the obvious choice for this award, just ask Brad Smith, Matt Hasselbeck, and Reggie Bush lol

Colin Cowherd said on SportsNation that's who he's voting for.

From reading some comments...
it looks like a lot of people voted for James Harrison…if P. Willis doesn’t win this then it’s a crime against humanity. Ok maybe I’m being dramatic but he does deserve it.
I also think everyone should vote for B. Edwards for spectacular catch, even though there is no way he beats out L. Fitzgerald.
Vote Braylon Edwards 100 for Spectacular Catch
I just went back to see who was there to vote for, and Braylon Edwards is one of the choices to vote for in spectacular catch.
Willis came in 2nd and Edwards 3rd.

The thing about Willis -
- is that while obviously he can hit, the power of hits isn’t his defining quality in the way it was for, say, Ronnie Lott. I can’t think of an example where a Willis hit fundamentally changed the other team’s approach to the game (the canonical example would be Lott making Icky Woods afraid).
What makes WIllis better than other MLBs is his combination of speed and play-reading ability. Nobody else figures out where the ball is going and gets there faster. When you add in superior tackling ability, obviously, that turns him into a great player.
But a great hitter?
Not particularly. And that’s just fine. A lot of times guys who really care about the hit go for the hit rather than wrapping the guy up, and that results in missed tackles. Willis just seems to always make the play, and I’m okay with that.
His defining hits aren't even very spectacular
The shot on Hasselbeck at the goalline… and the helmet to helmet shot on the defenseless WR. Harrison is a way bigger hitter
Gimme 1 round!
