Golden Nuggets: 49ers-Cowboys Game Day Is Upon Us

Well, it's only been a week but it feels like forever since the 49ers defeated the Seattle Seahawks last Sunday. The 49ers find themselves in a game that is winnable but remains a tough test of where they stand. They're three point underdogs and I know some folks would double or triple that number. Some say the Cowboys come in with something to prove and a bit of a chip on their shoulder. On the other hand, maybe they're ripe for the upset?

Whatever the case, hopefully it will at least be a fun day of football. It's an historic rivalry that will hopefully work its way back into the public consciousness very soon. Speaking of the history of the rivalry, if you only read one thing at Niners Nation today (well, aside from these Nuggets), check out Wes Hanson's post yesterday. He wrote about the history of the rivalry and interwove it with some personal experiences wit his father. It's one of the best pieces we've had in a while. On to the links...
