Golden Nuggets: Kendall Hunter Will Get More Carries

Yesterday, I had a bit of a Tony Romo overload, but I think I'm starting to come down from that. I also just want to put out that it took a lot of restraint to not say "Tony Romoverload," in the last sentence, but evidently there wasn't enough to stop me from putting it in this sentence. All I can really think about in regards to the 49ers is the running back situation. Yesterday, I had somebody call me a delusional fanboy because I said Kendall Hunter should remain the backup to Frank Gore. With the way this offensive line is playing, I stand by it. Gore deserves more than three games, especially with the numbers from both guys. That is not me saying that Hunter doesn't deserve more snaps ... of course he does. He's our future feature back, and I don't hesitate for a second to say that, but for now, he should be the change-of-pace back in a running back-by-committee scenario. If you disagree, try not to lose your temper, mmkay? Mmkay.
