Golden Nuggets: What's YOUR Deal?

Happy Labor Day to everybody. Ninjames is wrapping up his vacation and I'll be covering the links today and tomorrow. Although today is a holiday in the US, it's still the start of the week leading up to Sunday's 49ers opener against the Seattle Seahawks. The NFL season gets started this Thursday when the last two Super Bowl champions square off as the Green Bay Packers host the New Orleans Saints. In the meantime, 49ers fans have six more days to get through and then football is really, actually back.

Speaking of this coming weekend, 49ers vs. Seahawks also means the first matchup of Jim Harbaugh and Pete Carroll since their days dueling in the Pac-10. More specifically, the first game since their slightly infamous run-in following a Stanford beatdown of USC. It's most famous for the What's Your Deal comment, but I'd argue the funnier part is at the beginning when Harbaugh says "Look at them all running in." I'd like to hope he's talking about either the Trojans players or their fans. On to the links.
